Pakistani TikTok star Sana Yousaf was murdered tragically on June 2, 2025. She was only 17 years old. The murderer was a 22 year old man who had persistently harassed her online.
Sana Yousaf was born in Chunj, Upper Chitral on June 2, 2007. She moved to Islamabad with her family. She pursued her education in medical sciences. Instead he shot her twice in the chest at close range and she was immediately dead. He then fled the scene taking her mobile phone with him.
Islamabad Police launched an immediate investigation. They utilized CCTV footage and mobile data analysis. Almost 20 hours later, he was apprehended in Faisalabad. He confessed to the crime saying that he had been repeatedly rejected by Sana. The police recovered the murder weapon, the clothes worn during the incident and Sana's mobile phone.
